  • The Billy & Mary album apparently has been re-titled "Piano Creeps" and is due out on January 20th on Cooking Vinyl (in Europe) and probably on SpinArt in the States.

  • Billy played guitar at Mary's recent SXSW show, they even did "Car Song". At least one of the upcoming Mary Lorson / Saint Low dates, on April 30th in Ithaca, NY, will be a Mary & Billy duo show as well.

  • Mary Lorson and her Madder Rose partner Billy Cote will release their instrumental album "I Don't Want To Fight Tonight," later in 2002. They have scored several short films, including Grace Lee's "Barrier Device," starring Sandra Oh.

  • According to Billy, there is a chance of him and Mary touring together for a bit next year to promote Mary's upcoming new album.

  • Although Madder Rose still looks very much dead, at least some Mary Lorson & Billy Coté collaborations are expected to surface soon. See Saint Low section for details.

  • The sad news is, that the band broke up in late 2000, according to Billy Coté. And he should know.

  • The Blake Babies upcoming new album "God Bless The Blake Babies" will include a cover version of the Madder Rose song "Baby Gets High". Juliana Hatfield also played the song live on her last solo tour.
